The Perfect [Geometric] Accessory.

It's small, cute and versatile. And to top it off, it's big enough to transport all of your daily essentials. In short, it's the perfect, geometric accessory!

A Few Of Our Favorite Etsy [Accessory] Treasuries.

Since this week is all about accessories, we scoured through the Etsy treasury, hoping to find some goodies. And boy did we ever!

Theme Of The Week: [Project] Accessories.

Accessories make the outfit. I'm a dude, so I've always just accepted this statement as fact. After all, sunglasses are pretty much the only accessory I sport:

Me and my "accessories".

But having seen my share of "Project Runway" episodes, I totally get it now. Accessories can make the outfit. And sometimes, they can even steal the show!

Woven rope necklace, from Jennifer Loiselle.

So this week, we're all about accessories: necklaces, earrings, brooches, shoes, belts, fascinators and more--for these are the the true wardrobe stars.

Pink flower hair piece, from Which Goose.

So without further ado, I dub this week, "Project Accessory"! This, of course, is a total hijacking of the upcoming show with the same name. But hey, let's just consider it an homage.

Friday's Geometric Find: Upcycled Wall Mosaic.

Often times, leftovers are even more delicious than the original meal. And while we're not sure what this table top may have looked like in its former life, we definitely love what its parts have become.

Lunch Time Geometry Lesson.

Cutting a sandwich on the diagonal yields 2 triangles. And really, there couldn't be a better segue for today's lunch-themed, geometric find.

New Geometric Wood Organizers In The Etsy Shop!

I'm so darned proud of how these salvaged organizers turned out. The geometric design really pops! Just got 'em all listed in the Etsy shop too. More designs are in the works, so stay tuned.

Geometric Patterns.

Geometric patterns excite me. Perhaps it's the balance between abstract shapes and linear order, or maybe it's the playful repetitiveness. Whatever the reason, these patterns stimulate my eyes and dazzle my brain.

Theme Of The Week: A Geometric Life.

I've always seen the shapes of the world through geometric lenses. To me, straight lines are telephone wires that run forever.

Tiny, repeating triangles are a mathematical fashion accessory as lethal as any tribal weaponry.

Brass earrings, from Prairie Oats.

Linear doodles on a piece of paper are blueprints for a maze of neighborhood streets, lanes and avenues.

Ink drawing, from Studio Benben.

And a repeating series of circles and squares is a bombastic sound system, waiting to shake the foundation.

Tiny Messages.

Sending clear, concise messages is an effective way to communicate. In related news, sending super-tiny messages is an excellent way to be eco-friendly...and romantic!

Tepee Tank Top.

We love this tank top design. We also love that Bark Decor utilizes the sun's energy to expose their screens. Now that's eco-friendly!

Simple, Yet Effective Design.

Contrary to popular belief, creating a minimalist aesthetic can be difficult. Add eco-friendly to the mix and you've got quite the challenge. And now you know why I love these coasters:

Urban Foraging.

Seattle is known for recycling and reusing--and more recently, composting. In fact, spotting "free" piles of wood or other unused building materials in a neighbor's front yard is a common sight.

If you're like me, you begin to wonder...what to do with all that free wood...?

Theme Of The Week: Eco-Friendly Finds.

I'm happy to announce that eco-friendly is the new black. And rest assured, it's a water-based, low-VOC black too!

Reusable, "To Go" Mason jars, from Poppy and Pearl.

Whether it's salvaged, recycled, repurposed or reusable, we're loving the momentous consumer shift towards eco-friendly goods.

Ecobag "Circles" tote, from Pawling.

And while we're on the subject, we think this may be the perfect time to change the stigma behind re-gifting.

Organic, vegan soap samples, from Prunella's Soap.

After all, just because a gift doesn't jive with your taste, doesn't mean it should end up in the storage closet.

Recycled billboard banner storage bin, from Notty Pooch.

This week, we're bringing you our favorite eco-friendly finds. So grab your pencil and paper (just grab a sheet from your recycle bin) and get ready for a week filled with earth-friendly gift ideas!

Here's To Them All.

With bountiful brews from which to choose, perhaps the path to pleasing the palate is to simply enjoy them all. Happy Oktoberfest!

Civil Consumption.

If you're drinking beer from a boot, you're probably pretty sloshed. However, if you're drinking beer from this vintage beer mug, from Blue Rose Retro, you're at least feigning civility...even if you are, in fact, wasted.

Designing The Perfect Beer.

We've never homebrewed our own beer. But we appreciate the satisfaction that must come from crafting your very own brew. Surely, it makes the end-of-the-day cold one that much more rewarding.

A Toast-Worthy Dress.

This upcycled dress, from Rusty Cuts, will likely turn a few heads at your local Oktoberfest event--which is great, because it's probably best to be remembered by your austere fashion sense, rather than your drunken loss of motor skills.

Theme Of The Week: Oktoberfest.

Hops, barley, wheat, yeast...dark, light, amber, white...stout, pilsner, ale, lager. Oktoberfest is all about honoring and celebrating beer; giving thanks to the ingredients and appreciating the craftsmanship behind brewing a great beer.

Bicycle pint glasses, from Vital.

This week we celebrate Oktoberfest and the refreshing elixir commonly referred to as beer--golden, delicious and nutritious...well, sort of.

So open the fridge, grab a cold one, pop the top, take a sip and enjoy the show. And by the way, make sure you crack one open for us too!
